Eat Healthy for less with Prairie Land Food
Once a month, we set a menu of 13-14 items dependant on market fluctuations, which include 5 meat items for a Prairie Pak. In addition, we offer the option to purchase additional items, which tend to be the main course in any family meal or gathering. After all orders are received, volunteers will work together to help get all food ready to be shipped to each site and then loaded onto temperature controlled semi-trucks, and sent on their way to their destinations. Reaching each host site, the bulk order is unloaded by volunteers and taken to be sorted out to complete every participant's order. Orders can be paid by cash, check, or SNAP (food stamp) or online.

What is Volunteer Service?
Do you sometimes spend your free time tutoring a friend or their loved one? Babysitting for a mother you know who's in need of help? Coach a team at a local grade school in the evenings? Or perhaps even help out by carpooling your child's friends to or from school on occasion? That's all it takes to be eligible!
*A site handling fee, not to exceed $1, will be added to the total order. The site handling fee helps volunteers with costs of printing menu fliers, postage, etc.
*Orders placed on line, a $1 processing fee will be added to the total order.
